Alisa Brodkowitz

Alisa believes in holding manufactures to higher standards and restoring dignity to her clients after an injury or loss.  Through her work on plane crashes, aviation incidents and motor vehicle crashworthiness cases, Alisa combines the technical aspects of each case with winning legal theories.  She has experience in complex personal injury litigation, products liability, wrongful death and conflict of laws.

Alisa has unique education in the field of aviation, having studied aviation law at Leiden University in the Netherlands.  She is also an active member of the American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA) Aviation Section.  In 2009-2010 she served as the Chair of the Aviation Section.  In 2006 she served as the Aviation Section's Newsletter Editor.  In 2004-2005 Alisa served as the president of the Aviation Section of the King County Bar Association.  Other attorneys in the community often call on Alisa for aviation law expertise.

International service of process is another area of interest for Alisa.  She worked at the Hague Conference, monitoring a treaty used to effect service internationally, the Hauge Convention on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents.

In 2007 Alisa proudly served as the President of King County Washington Women Lawyers.  The organization, founded in the 1970's, is dedicated to the recognition and effectiveness of women lawyers and judges in the profession and community.  Alisa moved to Seattle after attending Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.  She speaks French.  She lives with her husband Matt Geise and their daughter in Queen Anne.

Jessica Vick

Jessica became a paralegal in 2000 upon completion of the American Bar Association (ABA) Certified Paralegal Certificate Program. Prior to completing the paralegal program she worked at the firm of Lane Powell in Seattle. Upon receiving her Paralegal Certificate in June 2000 she began work as a paralegal at a local insurance defense firm.

In 2002 Jessica began advocating for injured people when she had an opportunity to join a plaintiffs' personal injury firm as a paralegal. In doing so Jessica found a practice area that she could be passionate about. She finds helping people who have been injured in accidents extremely rewarding. She has been with Brodkowitz Law since September 2008.

Jessica is a mother of two who enjoys yoga and walking in her free time.  She lives in Des Moines.
